The heroine of my novel-in-progress, a young woman who has no particular ambitions towards the heroic, but is forced by circumstances to be a hero anyway.

She's pictured here in her main costumes, which symbolizes the changes she goes through in the course of the story. She starts out an ordinary farm girl--and I don't want to give any spoilers by spelling out what the other costume changes mean. You can probably work out something for yourself.

I had all manner of exciting ambitions for her character sheet (like expressions, and poses, and the details of her weaponry and equipment), but since it's been almost a year since I started working on it, I figured I'd better finish up what I had, or risk fiddling with it forever. So here's what I came up with.

The background is a map I made for the story, an embarrassingly long time ago.

Aine is an Irish name, pronounced like the Russian name "Anya."
