I'm probably in the minority, but I really really liked Elizabeth's story arc through the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. (You know Elizabeth's the main character, right? That Jack Sparrow fellow is all very amusing, but the story begins and ends with Lizzie. Discuss! ;p )

Old sketch with some quick colours thrown on. It's ... very green. It didn't look this green on my laptop! I shall justify it by saying it's that before-a-storm greenish hue you get in the air ... yes, that's it!

Cuuuute! I love that you drew her in this outfit: it's my fav of hers.

As for the discussion....bleh, I didn't really care too much for her as the movies went on. I liked her in the first film, when she was girly and scared and such...she got too capable, too fast! But I guess it helps that your boyfriend is a swordsmith/sometimes-pirate!

Yes! Very nicely done. Hmm, wow thats an interesting notion... I never really thought about Elizabeth being the main character, but I guess she kind of is ^__^

I did enjoy her change of character though the series of movies. Here is an interesting thought though. I think that Elizabeth had the Kiss of Death. Think about it! Every one she ever kissed dies immediately afterward (Accept for Will in the First Movie, but he does die later) in the movies.
Observe:
1. Jack and then he eaten by the Kraken
2. Sao Feng and then he dies from a Cannonball
3. Nortington who is then Killed by Davy Jones
4. Will and then He has his heart cut out.

The woman is cursed! But since Will is technically a dead man anyway, the curse stops with him. Interesting no?

haha. Thats very true. Now he can't die because of her kiss of death! Its a good thing she wasn't some kind of floozy or the whole crew would have died of "unexpected causes"

It's a great sketch-- very dynamic-- but Lizzie is so blond that she kind of looks like a piratical Hayden Panettiere.

Personally, I wasn't that crazy about her character, but I didn't hate her as much as I thought I would. However, I have avoided the third movie... I was told by everyone I knew that it would really infuriate me.

DISAGREE. DISAGREE. FULLY DISAGREE.

1st; started with (young) Elizabeth, ended with Jack
2nd; started with oh so sad Elizabeth, ended with Barbossa (due to Elizabeth being a *several names here* and killing Jack)
3rd; started with ...I forgot his name and ended with Jack.

I took that a little too literally, didn't I?
WHO CARES. *clings to Jack*
