Okay! I'm holding my very first contest! Here we go!

Rules:
Submit a deviation of one or more of my characters. Use whatever medium and style you're most comfortable in. For example, if you are an anime artist, do it anime style. If anthros are your thing, then do that. If your strength is not drawing, but writing, then write a description, or a short scene, or a poem, or whatever strikes you fancy. These are just examples: spray paint a wall, decorate a cake, macrame a wall hanging, whatever you want. The idea is to play to your strengths, and produce the best piece of art you can.

Feel free to alter character designs to suit your tastes, but let's keep these PG-13, please.

Send me a note with a link to your finished deviation, and I'll post links here in my journal.

Anyone can enter, as many times as they want!

Judging:
Feel free to vote for your favorite in the comments here, if you want. I'm going to get my husband to judge, because I know I won't be able to be impartial!

Prizes!
First prize gets a full-color, shiny, nifty, totally keen image of a character or characters (no more than 3) of their choice. This can be their own creation, or a favorite character from a movie, book, anime, TV show, whatever.

Second prize gets a slightly less shiny colored image of a character of their choice.

Third prize gets lineart of a character of their choice.

Winners will probably be announced about a week after the deadline ... but don't go trying to be all sneaky and submit stuff after the deadline!

Note:
I will be away from dA from March 1 to April 16--that's why the judging won't happen until a week after the deadline, to give me (and my handsome judge!) time to look at everything!
